We're a Stanford program that pairs high school students with undergraduate mentors to accelerate public health ideas and initiatives within their own communities
The Youth Public Health Accelerator (YPHA) helps high school students turn curiosity about public and global health into real projects that serve their communities. We're founded and directed by Stanford undergraduates through the Stanford Undergraduate Global Health Club & Stanford Journal of Public Health, with support from Stanford's Center for Innovation in Global Health. YPHA meets students wherever they're starting from a first spark of interest, a half-formed idea, or an initiative in its early stages. We walk alongside students from that first step to a finished project they can carry into the world.
